Ouachita Terminals moves bulk, containers, and project cargo through a fully intermodal river port at Mile 164 on the Ouachita River, the only full container operation within 200 miles. Barge, rail, and truck meet at a single facility, so freight that would otherwise run the whole way by road can take the river for the long haul and the road only for the last mile.
